HobJoy works hard to bring you a wide selection of fantastic deals. We work with many different Merchant partners, each with their own return policy.
Please note that because of the unique nature of the great deals that HobJoy brings to you, cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds are significantly more restricted than what might otherwise be offered by the Merchant. Unless otherwise provided for below, they aren't allowed.
Please make sure to also read our Terms & Conditions and also understand the Deal Return Policy for the Merchant Services you are purchasing via HobJoy BEFORE you purchase a Service from us.
We want you to be satisfied with your HobJoy experience. If you have trouble for any reason, please contact us so we can work to resolve your issue.
This Returns Policy covers Hobjoy and Impact Ventures, LLC (“HobJoy, “We”, “Us”, “Ours”). It covers all HobJoy “Sites” (HobJoy.com, including any mobile, touch, other versions or sections, social networking sites, or other owned sites of Impact Ventures LLC that we have now or may have in the future).
Every Service, including Deals, contains supplemental details in its Deal Terms about how returns, refunds, or exchanges will (or won't) be accepted. If there is conflict between the Deal Terms and this Returns Policy, the Deal Terms will prevail.
For Voucher Deals, unless otherwise stated in this Returns Policy or the Deal Terms, this information supersedes any Return Policy that appears on/in a Merchant's own store.
As stated in the Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, sales of Merchant or HobJoy Services on HobJoy Sites are considered “AS IS”, “NO RETURNS ACCEPTED” and “ALL SALES FINAL”.
Any attempt to return, exchange or refund must be made within 7 days of delivery of the Service.
An order can only be canceled with HobJoy for a full refund of the paid portion of a Voucher or other Service if it has not yet been redeemed with the Merchant. If, after investigation, it has been determined that the Voucher or Service has not been redeemed, HobJoy will notify you via e-mail and issue a refund.
Once a Voucher or Service has been, or was determined to have been, redeemed and/or an order placed with the Merchant, it may not be canceled. Your only remedy is to return or refund the Service, subject to the restrictions and limitations set forth in the applicable Deal Terms, this Refund Policy, and the Terms & Conditions.
Because HobJoy never takes ownership title of the goods or services you are purchasing, we're not able to accept any returns ourselves. You must deal directly with the Merchant from which you purchased the Service, subject to the restrictions and limitations set forth in the applicable Deal Terms, this Refund Policy, and the Terms & Conditions.
Only if a Service offered by a Merchant is not as it was described in the Deal may it be returned for a full refund of the paid portion of your Service.
Items with defects in the materials or workmanship may be returned to the Merchant for replacement or credit.
If an item is returned, unless otherwise stated, no refunds shall be given. Instead, a returned item will either be replaced with a like item or credit will be issued from the Merchant in the amount of the value of the paid portion of the Deal for future purchases from the Merchant. For example, if you paid $50.00 for a Deal with a total value of $100.00 and then returned the item, it would either be replaced with another item like the one you purchased, or credit would be issued to you from the Merchant for $50.00.
Returned items must be in "new, unaltered and unused condition".
There may be shipping and restocking fees for returning items to the Merchant as identified in the Merchant's own Returns Policy.
If a Merchant refuses to honor the redemption of any Voucher within the expiration period, HobJoy will refund the amount paid upon request, or will credit the HobJoy account of the purchaser for future purchases on the Sites.
Refunds issued by HobJoy will be issued within 5 business days. If stated, applicable shipping charges and restocking fees may be deducted from your refund. HobJoy will usually refund any money received from you in the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
Refunds issued by Merchants are contingent upon their inspection of any items returned will be issued as per their own Refund Policy. If stated, applicable Merchant shipping charges and restocking fees may be deducted from your refund.
HobJoy and affiliated Merchants reserve the right to refuse to issue a refund and to recover the cost of the return from you in the event that any items you return are not eligible to return based on this Refunds Policy, the applicable Deal Terms, the Terms & Conditions, fraud, or the items are found to have suffered damage after delivery to you or have been misused or used other than in accordance with the product directions or instructions.
Credits issued by HobJoy will be issued within 5 business days.
Credits issued by HobJoy must be used within two (2) years from the date that the credit was issued and may only be used for future purchases of Services. Any credit or portion thereof not used within the two (2) year period will automatically expire.
Credits issued by Merchants are contingent upon their inspection of any items returned will be issued and expire as per their own Refund Policy. If stated, applicable Merchant shipping charges and restocking fees may be deducted from your Credit.
In the event credit is issued, the promotional value of a Voucher is void.
